About Us

OUR CHURCH COMMUNITY

We are a Christian Bible-based community committed to loving and supporting each other as we aim to live wholehearted lives for Jesus .

Our heart is to share the good news and love of Jesus to the Byron Shire community and beyond and to see people enter into a saving relationship with God.

Most Sunday mornings we share our time with English language students, backpackers and Aussie and international visitors.

We also meet each week in small groups on Mondays and Wednesdays for Bible study and prayer. Come join our church family!

WE SUPPORT…

  • MISSIONS: Prayer for various missionary workers around the world involved in sharing the good news of Jesus with people of all nations

  • BEACH MISSION: We partner with Scripture Union’s “SummerLife” outreach in Byron Bay over the summer holidays in early January

  • SCRIPTURE IN SCHOOLS: Christian Education within the Byron Shire high schools and primary schools

  • JERICHO ROAD: Jericho Road seeks to provide high quality and distinctively Christian care to all those in the community who are most vulnerable and who would otherwise be isolated from support. Find out more here.

OUR COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT

Byron Bay Presbyterian Church is run by our Elders and our Committee Of Management.

For more information please contact us via [email protected].

Julian and Celia are our pastoral ministry workers.

They have both completed study at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and are committed to sitting under the authority of the Bible, God’s Word, as they serve and love our church. Julian seeks to pastorally care for our church family as he strives to teach faithfully from the Bible during our services each Sunday. Celia loves to walk alongside women and young people in our church and in the wider community to care for them and teach them what it means to follow Jesus.

They have three kids and love the Byron Shire where they have lived and worked for over 16 years.
